Café De Skorpion i Kalken kan du helt klart betegnes som et "folkecafé". Men vidste du, at det også er det billigste café i Flandern (i hvert fald i 2017). "En øl koster her siden 2012 90 cent.... Jeg er kendt som det billigste café i landet, og det vil jeg gerne holde sådan. Så længe jeg er her, vil priserne ikke stige", sagde ejer Marc Van De Velde i 2012. Forhåbentlig kan vi stadig nyde dette folkecafé i lang tid, og det går ikke ned ad bakke på grund af de højere omkostninger.
