De middelalderruiner af slottet og den befæstede landsby Poilvache ligger på Houx' territorium, en del af den belgiske kommune Yvoir, på den højre bred af Maas. Fra den klippeagtige hæl, hvor fæstningen ligger, har man en god udsigt over Maas-dalen. Ruinerne er af arkæologisk betydning og beskyttes som Usædvanlig Arv i den Vallonske region.
