Vandet, der kommer gennem denne store murstenslås, kommer ikke direkte fra det lokale undergrundsvandstand, men fra overløbet af en vandtank begravet i skovbunden lige her i nærheden. Dette vand bliver først indsamlet fra kilderne i en flod kaldet Bocq, i provinsen Namur, og bliver transporteret til dette reservoir via en rørledning på flere ti kilometer. Vandet fra denne 'kilde' kommer altså fra Namur, hvilket også berettiger navnet på den skovbæk, der fostrer det, Bocq.
