Dette naturreservat i hjertet af Hesbaye er en tidligere kalkstensfabrik, udnyttet til produktion af cement og drevet fra 1899 til 1956. Siden da har naturen genvundet sin ret. Dette miljø udgør i dag et område med stor biodiversitet, hvor tørre zoner, blomstrende enge, fugtige områder og skovrige arealer eksisterer side om side. Det 3 hektar store reservat huser meget sjældne arter som blodgeranium, kammerbær og tre arter af orkideer.
