Mücke ligger 200 til 350 meter over havets overflade i det nordvestlige Nedre Vogelsberg ved den øvre del af Ohm, en biflod til Lahn, samt den sydlige Ohm-biflod Seenbach og dens biflod Ilsbach. Bydelen Atzenhain ligger ved Lumda, som løber mod vest til Lahn, på det såkaldte Lumda-plateau, der strækker sig vestpå og hvor også Bernsfeld ligger.
