Rochlitz er en stor købsby i Landkreis Mittelsachsen i fristaten Sachsen. Den er sæde for forvaltningsfællesskabet Rochlitz med medlemskommunerne Königsfeld, Seelitz og Zettlitz. Med knap 6000 indbyggere er Rochlitz den mindste saksiske by med status som stor købsby.
Byen ligger ved Zwickauer Mulde og ved foden af Rochlitzer-Bjerget med den fremtrædende og udvundne Rochlitzer Porfyr. Byen var hårdt ramt af århundredes oversvømmelse i august 2002. De nærmeste centralbyer er Chemnitz, som ligger omkring 25 kilometer i fugleflugt, samt Leipzig og Zwickau, som hver især ligger omkring 45 kilometer væk.
