Montabaur [ˈmɔntaˌbaʊ̯ɐ] er den administrative hovedstad i Westerwaldkreis i Rheinland-Pfalz. Det er samtidig administrationssæde for kommunegruppen Montabaur, som omfatter yderligere 24 lokalbyer. I henhold til landsplanlægning er Montabaur udpeget som et mellemcenter. Kendt på tværs af regionen er slotte Montabaur, Fashion Outlet Center og stationen Montabaur med ICE-forbindelse til højhastighedsbanen Köln–Rhein/Main.
