Limbach-Oberfrohna er en stor kommune i Zwickau-distriktet i det sydvestlige Fristaten Sachsen, som blev dannet den 1. juli 1950 ved sammenslutning af byerne Limbach og Oberfrohna. Limbach fik byrets i 1883, og Oberfrohna i 1935. Der er et administrationsfællesskab med nabokommunen Niederfrohna.
Limbach-Oberfrohna hører naturligt til grænseområdet mellem det midtsaksiske bakkeland og Erzgebirgsvorlandet samt Erzgebirgsbassinet i den sydvestlige del af Sachsen. Mod syd og sydøst strækker den skovrige høje af Rabensteiner-skoven sig som en nordlig forlængelse af Erzgebirgsvorlandet. Byområdet bidrager til området ved markgrænsen til Chemnitz-Grüna gennem bydelen Pleißa. Der opnås højder på over 400 m over havets overflade.
