Stadt Wehlen er en landsby i den Sächsischen Schweiz. Den ligger ved jernbanelinjen fra Dresden til Prag og midt i Elbsandsteingebirgen, hvilket gør den til udgangspunkt for vandreture til destinationer som Bastei, Felsenbühne Rathen, Bärensteinen og Rauenstein samt Wehlener og Uttewalder Grund.
Byen ligger direkte ved Elben, både på højre og venstre bred, og grænser mod nord og øst op til Nationalpark Sächsische Schweiz.
