Niemetal er en landsby, der tilhører Samtgemeinde Dransfeld i Landkreis Göttingen i det sydlige Niedersachsen. I kommunen bor der cirka 1500 indbyggere.
Kommunen Niemetal, som ligger vest for Dransfeld, ligger mellem Bramwald mod vest og Dransfelder Stadtwald mod øst. Alle bydele – Varlosen, Imbsen, Löwenhagen og Ellershausen foran skoven – bliver gennemstrømmet af Nieme. Niemetal er omgivet af Naturpark Münden.
