Krakow ved Søen er en by i den sydlige del af Landkreis Rostock i Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. Den er sæde for kontoret Krakow ved Søen, som fire andre kommuner hører til. Siden år 2000 har Krakow været anerkendt som en statslig kurby. Krakow udgør et grundcenter for sit opland.
Byen ligger nord for Mecklenburgsøerne ved den nordvestlige bred af den stærkt opdelt, bugtede og ø-rige Krakower Sø, hvis areal omtrent 80 % tilhører byområdet. Den sydlige del af Krakower Sø samt andre søer er en del af Nossentiner/Schwinzer Heide naturpark. Krakow ved Søen ligger cirka 18 kilometer syd for kredsbyen Güstrow.
