Kamern er en enheds kommune og et statsligt anerkendt rekreationsområde i nordøst for Landkreis Stendal og Sachsen-Anhalt i Tyskland. Den tilhører forbundskommunen Elbe-Havel-Land, som har sit forvaltningskontor i kommunen Schönhausen.
Kommunens område ligger i den nordlige del af landet Schollene, en skovrig endemoræne bue, der strækker sig mellem de her parallelle floder Elbe og Havel over en længde på 30 km. Umiddelbart syd for Kamern rejser Harkenberg sig i Kamerschen eller Rehberger Bjerge op til 110 m over havets overflade, denne vartegn ligger dermed cirka 80 m over det flade flodlejeområde af Elbe og Havel. Kamern ligger cirka 13 km fra Havelberg.
