Sohland an der Spree er en by og den tilhørende kommune i den sydøstlige del af Sachsen ved grænsen til Tjekkiet. Med næsten 7000 indbyggere er det en af de mest befolkede kommuner i Bautzen-området og også en af de største landsbyer i Sachsen. Sohland ligger lige ved Bundesstraße 98 med forbindelse til motorvejen A4 via Bautzen. Adskillige omgebindehuse, herunder det ældste omgebindehus i Bautzen-regionen, præger bybilledet.
Sohland ligger cirka 15 km syd for den store købstad Bautzen i Lausitzer Bergland.
Højden af kommunen strækker sig fra 280 m til 487 m. Afstanden mellem de to punkter er kun 1500 m.
