Kreds Recklinghausen er en geografisk enhed i nord for Ruhrområdet i det nordvestlige Nordrhein-Westfalen. Kreds er den mest befolkede i Forbundsrepublikken. Den tilhører regeringsdistriktet Münster og er medlem af Landskabsforbundet Westfalen-Lippe og Regionalforbundet Ruhr. Hovedsædet for kredsen er den store by Recklinghausen, som er en del af kredsen.
