Bovenden er en landsby i Göttingen kommune i Sydniedersachsen. Store dele af den nuværende Bovenden landsby overlapper med det tidligere "Herred Plesse".
Betegnelsen "landsby" er en officiel del af navnet. Landsbyen består af hovedbyen Bovenden og syv andre lokaliteter. Cirka 14.000 indbyggere har deres hoved- eller sekundære bopæl i Bovenden landsby, hvoraf 48 procent bor i hovedbyen Bovenden.
