Mieste er en landsby samt en bydel i hansestaden Gardelegen i Altmarkkreis Salzwedel i den nordvestlige del af Sachsen-Anhalt.
Den altmärkiske kirke-by Mieste ligger mellem Drömling og Colbitz-Letzlinger Heide ved motorvejen 188, som forbinder byen med byerne Gardelegen og Oebisfelde. Der er også en jernbaneforbindelse til begge byer. De landbrugsarealer, der omgiver Mieste, har med et gennemsnit på 37 jordpunkter kun en moderat udbytte. Cirka 6 km syd for byen løber Mittellandkanalen, og den nærmeste omladningsstation for skibsfracht ligger i Calvörde. I østenden af landsbyen flyder Sichauer Bäke mod syd.
