Roeren er en biflod til Maas. Dens længde er ca. 165 km, hvoraf 21,5 km ligger på nederlandsk område. Vandløbet for Roeren måler 234.000 ha; det er 7% af det samlede vandløb for Maas. Faldet er 643 meter. Roeren er, sammen med Dieze, den vigtigste flod, der strømmer ind i Maas inden for Nederlandene.
