Borgstedet Wichsenstein er resterne af en forsvunden adelsborg på en stejl klippeformation over landsbyen Wichsenstein i den oberfrankiske Landkreis Forchheim i Bayern. Borgen er helt forsvundet, ingen rester vidner om den, borgklippen fungerer som udsigtspunkt.
Borgstedet for Gipfelburg ligger i det centrale område af Fränkische Schweiz, en del af middelområdet Frankenjura, på naturmonumentet Wichsensteiner Fels, en klippeformet bjergtop i cirka 587 m over havets overflade på nordkanten af landsbyen Wichsenstein, cirka 20 meter over landsbyen og cirka 60 meter nord-nordvest for den katolske sognkirke Sankt Erhard og cirka 15 kilometer nordøst for Forchheim.
