Wetzendorf er en landsby i den nordlige Burgenlandkreis ved højre bred af Unstrut. Den strækker sig langs den gamle vinrute. Siden 1957 er Wetzendorf en del af kommunen Karsdorf.
Den som en vejlandsby langs den gamle vinrute opståede sted blev første gang nævnt skriftligt i 1061 som Widesendorp, dvs. en landsby af en Widiso. Wetzendorf tilhørte herredømmet Wiehe og kom i 1539 til Herren von Werthern på Beichlingen. I landsbyen lå en riddegård, der underkastede sig ejerne af Nebra.
