Wambachsøen er en af de seks søer i Seks-Søen-Platten i Wedau. Det er den eneste sø, der ikke er direkte forbundet med de andre søer. Den er forbundet med Masurensøen via en underjordisk kanal, der grænser op til kanoportforeningen.
Wambachsøen er den eneste sø i Seks-Søen-Platten, hvor dykning er tilladt. Søen fungerer også som uddannelsessted for Forbundet af Tyske Sportsdykkere. Der er en dykkerindgang for sportsdykkere, der skal gøre indgangen lettere, beliggende ved den østlige bred af søen.
