Christoph 9 er en redningshelikopter, der drives af det indre ministerium ved Duisburgs erhvervssygdomsulykkesklinik i den sydlige bydel Buchholz. Den tre personers besætning flyver årligt op til 1.300 opgaver inden for en radius af 50 kilometer fra luftredningscentret, der blev åbnet den 16. september 1975 i Duisburgs syd. Siden en Euregio-samarbejde i 2003 er Christoph 9 også blevet alarmeret til grænseoverskridende opgaver i Holland. I februar 2008 blev en ny helikopter af typen Eurocopter EC 135 T2i taget i brug, som erstattede den tolv år gamle BO 105.
