Grünewalde er en bydel i byen Lauchhammer i den sydbrandenburgiske kommune Oberspreewald-Lausitz. Den ligger cirka 3 kilometer nordvest for centrum ved landevej 63 i naturparken Niederlausitzer Heidelandschaft.
Grünewalde blev første gang nævnt i 1418 i et lenedokument fra markgreven af Meißen og den senere kurfyrste af Sachsen Friedrich IV. som „Grunenwald“. Stednavnet skal sandsynligvis fortolkes som „til den grønne skov“ eller „ved den grønne skov“. Senere versioner af stednavnet er Grunewalt, Grunewalde, Grünewalda og endelig Grünewalde. Som dialektal sorbisk form af stednavnet blev Seln Drewo brugt, jævnfør nedersorbisk zelene drjewo, „grønt træ“.
