Meuro er en del af kommunen Schipkau i Landkreis Oberspreewald-Lausitz i Brandenburg. Ordstyrer er Frank Priemer.
Meuro blev første gang nævnt i år 1474. Amtsforvalteren for det kursachsiske amt Senftenberg, Kunz von Breitenbach, nævnte det sammen med de også første gang nævnte steder Rauno/Rowna og Sauo/Sowjo i en anmodet rapport om tilstanden i amt. Meuro var ligesom de omkringliggende landsbyer i lange perioder et landbrugspræget sted. Udover markbrug og husdyrhold bestemte vinavl og biavl livet i byen. Bønderne fra Meuro var ligesom dem fra Sorno, Klettwitz og Lieske forpligtede til tjeneste i amt Senftenberg. De måtte transportere gødning fra fårestaldene til vinmarkerne i amtets Hörlitzer mark. Kirke, skole og kirkegård lå i nabobyen Klettwitz.
