landsby Schlegel danner sammen med byen Burkersdorf en bydel i byen Zittau i det sydøstlige Oberlausitz. Stedet har omkring tusind indbyggere og ligger i Landkreis Görlitz i fristaten Sachsen. Schlegel er blandt andet kendt for rekreationsområdet Schlegler Teiche, den tidligere udflugtsrestaurant Schlegler Mühle, Schlegler Blasmusikanten og den der fremstillede Oberlausitzer Baumkuchen.
Stedet ligger i den sydøstlige del af Landkreis i dalen ved Kemmlitzbaches og strækker sig over en længde på cirka 4,5 kilometer. Øst for landsbyen går Bundesstraße 99 mellem Hirschfelde og Ostritz. Historisk set er Schlegel et skovhuflandsby, men har med tiden udviklet sig til en gadeby. Den mest markante forhøjning på stedets område er Schlegelberg. I øst og nordøst ligger Klosterwald, og i sydvest Oberwald.
