Barthmühle er en bosætning, der tilhører kommunen Pöhl i Vogtlandkreis, beliggende ved Weißen Elster. Bosætningen ligger i marken af byerne Jocketa, Trieb og Liebau, som den 1. januar 1994 blev sammenlagt med yderligere byer til den nye kommune Pöhl.
Barthmühle ligger tæt på Elstertalbroen, den næststørste murbro i verden. Bosætningen ligger for det meste på den vestlige bred af Weißen Elster, kun stationen ligger på østsiden. I byen udmunder Dölaubach i Weißen Elster. Størstedelen af bosætningen Barthmühle ligger i markerne tilhørende de til kommunen Pöhl hørende bydele Jocketa og Trieb, kun stationen på østsiden af Weißen Elster ligger i marken af Liebau. Barthmühle ligger ved den vestlige grænse af kommunen Pöhl i centrum af naturområdet Vogtland i den saksiske del af det historiske Vogtland.
