Neustadt am Rennsteig er en by og tidligere kommune i den tyske delstat Thüringen og er en del af Ilm-Kreis.
Neustadt am Rennsteig har 914 indbyggere.
Kommunen var en del af forvaltningsfællesskabet Langer Berg, indtil det blev opløst den 6. juli 2018. Neustadt am Rennsteig blev herefter indlemmet i forvaltningsfællesskabet Großbreitenbach, som blev opløst den 1. januar 2019, da alle kommuner i samarbejdet blev indlemmet i kommunen Großbreitenbach.
