1690 har Petit & Gebr. Edelbrock påbegyndt arbejdet som klokkestøberi. Selv i dag, i den 12. generation, fremstiller Petit & Gebr. Edelbrock kirkeklokker efter den traditionelle lermetode. Den 13 tons kapacitet smelteovn er hjertet i virksomheden.
Omkring 1900 begyndte Petit & Gebr. Edelbrock at udøve formstøbning. Statuetter, skulpturer, relieffer støbes i bronze, messing og aluminium i sandstøbe- eller voksudsmeltningsteknikker, som kunstværket kræver. Håndværksmæssig rutine og en stor mængde erfaring indgår i de kreative arbejders proces.
