Dronning Christina boede under sin romrejse i 1654 i huset til Gerdt Werkamp og Ilse Erenstinck på Köthorstraße (i dag Kongensgade) i Minden. De øverste etager eksisterede dengang ikke. Over døren er der flere inskriptioner: „Ved Guds velsignelse er alt i orden“ og „Den, der håber på Gud, har bygget godt“ samt årstallet 1644. I midten nævnes beboernes navne Gerdt Werkamp og Ilse Erenstinck.
