Aaby Mose er en af Danmarks største og mest velbevarede højmoser og hører til den bedst bevarede rest af den oprindelige Store Vildmose.
Højmosefladen er dannet af vækst af spagnum-mosser gennem mange hundrede år. På højmosen vokser sjældne og nøjsomme planter som f.eks. næbfrø, soldug, kæruld og tranebær. Fra udsigtsplatformen er der en fin udsigt til højmosen og med lidt held kan man måske se en trane inde på højmosefladen. Den nederste platform er tilgængelig for kørestolsbrugere.
