I skovrejsningsområdet Højene Skov er der gravet en sø på ca. 4000 m2 som har god og fast bund og som endnu har så lidt vegetation, at den er egnet til badning. Særligt har vinterbaderne taget søen til sig.
Der er madpakkehus og bålplads i tilknytning til søen og der er forbindelse til skoven stier. Bemærk at der også må fiskes i søen.
Der er intet affaldsstativ så hold stedet pænt og rent og tag dit affald med dig hjem.
Der kan evt. parkeres ved Højene Hallen eller på skovens lille p-plads på Skagensvej.
