Hytten er placeret lige overfor kirken, men mulighed for parkering lige ved.
Det er ikke muligt at booke hytten, men kan benyttes efter først til mølle princippet.
Bålhytten er med bålsted og siddepladser. Her finder du også information om natur, kulturarv, friluftsliv m.m. Læs bl.a. om kæmpehjorten fra Veflinge og Nordfyns værste troldmand!
Nærmeste indkøbsmulighed er Dagli’Brugsen i Veflinge, 600 m. fra shelterpladsen.
Har du lyst til at opleve mere af nærområdet, kan du trave en tur ned ad Axel Brahes vej til den smukke herregård Elvedgård, hvor du også kan finde en mindesten over historikeren Vedel Simonsen, som blandt andet reddede den smukke Glavendrup runesten fra at blive flækket i småstykker.
