Avilés er en by i Asturias, Spanien. Avilés er sammen med Oviedo og Gijón en af de vigtigste byer i fyrstedømmet Asturias. Byen ligger på det fladeste land i kommunen, delvist på et område, der tidligere tilhørte havet, omgivet af små promontorier, som alle ligger under 140 meter over havets overflade. Beliggende i Avilés-floden, i det Nordlige Centrale område af den asturiske kyst, vest for Peñas Cape, ligger den nationale havn.
