Liérganes er en kommune og lokalsamfund i den autonome region Cantabrien, beliggende i Trasmiera-distriktet. Den grænser mod nord til Medio Cudeyo, mod øst til Riotuerto, mod syd til Miera og mod vest til Penagos. Gennem sit område løber floden Miera, som forsyner Liérganes' kurbad. Derudover har den en pendltjeneste, der drives af Renfe Cercanías AM, som forbinder den med Santander via Adifs smalsporede net. Den er udnævnt som en af de smukkeste landsbyer i Spanien.
