Barr er en fransk kommune med 7197 indbyggere i Département Bas-Rhin i den europæiske enhed Alsace og i regionen Grand Est. Den tilhører arrondissementet Sélestat-Erstein og kantonen Obernai.
Den lille by Barr ligger ved udløbet af Kirneck fra Vogeserne ind i Oberrhein-sletten, cirka 17 kilometer nord for Sélestat og 25 kilometer sydvest for Strasbourg. Det stærkt skovklædte kommuneområde strækker sig langt ind i Vogeserne til kilden af Kirneck.
