Stationet ligger under Arc de Triomphe, på grænsen til det 8., 16. og 17. arrondissement. Selvom denne station er endestationen for metrolinje 6, er der for lidt plads til at fungere som logistik- og teknisk terminal. Denne funktion er overtaget af station Kléber, hvor der er mere plads til 2 ekstra udskillelsesspor og hvileområder for konduktørerne. Umiddelbart efter at metroen er vendt i sløjfen af station Charles de Gaulle - Étoile, kører de videre til station Kléber for at holde længere tid.
