Bar-le-Duc er en kommune i det franske departement Meuse og havde den 1. januar 2019 14.625 indbyggere, som kaldes Barisiens. Stedet er en del af arrondissementet Bar-le-Duc. Selvom byen sandsynligvis er meget ældre, blev den vigtig i det 10. århundrede som sæde for grevskabet, senere hertugdømmet Bar. I 1735 blev dette hertugdom en del af hertugdømmet Lothringen, i 1766 af Frankrig.
