Vi drejer til venstre ad vejen, der kommer fra Bédoin. Efter to hundrede meter når vi hovedvejen. Til venstre kan vi senere købe vin, men det er bedre ikke at gøre det nu. For vi skal stadig klatre lidt mere.
Stigningen til Malaucène er ikke særlig behagelig langs hovedvejen D938. Det er en travl vej, der forbinder Carpentras med Vaison la Romaine. Der kører mange lastbiler. Så vi skal være opmærksomme.
Selve stigningen er ikke så slemt.
