Om 1905 begyndte sporten at finde fodfæste i Frankrig. Så der blev ikke kun oprettet en golfbane i kurparken i Vittel, men også de første boulespil, der blev kaldt "Jeu du Cochonnet".
Fra 1922 anlagde vandkommissionen nær rosenhaven smukke spillefelter i et boulodrome, hvilket vakte beundring blandt de franske, schweiziske og italienske boulisten.
Hvert år om sommeren holder to foreninger boulodrome i Vittel i live ved at organisere boules- og lyonerkonkurrencer. Boulodrome er frit tilgængeligt i parken for elskere, hvad enten det er for en dag eller for altid!
For elskere for en dag, turister, feriegæster, kurister, der ønsker at spille med venner eller familie, er boulodrome frit tilgængeligt i thermalparken.
