Cinderford er en by og civil parish på den østlige kant af Forest of Dean i Gloucestershire, England, som havde en befolkning på 8.494 ved folketællingen i 2011.
Byen opstod i det 19. århundrede, efter den hurtige udvidelse af Cinderford Ironworks og Forest of Dean Coalfield. Cinderfords oprindelse kan ses i stil og layout i byen, med lange rækker af identiske rækkehuse, der ligner dem, der findes i minebyerne i South Wales Valleys. Nedgangen i kulindustrien i 1950'erne og 1960'erne påvirkede Cinderford, da størstedelen af den mandlige befolkning var ansat i mining.
