Chickney er en landsby og civil parish nær Broxted og sydvest for Thaxted i Uttlesford, Essex, England. I 2001 var befolkningen i den civile parish Chickney 38. Chickney har en kirke kaldet St Mary's Church, som er klassificeret som Grade I og er en overflødig kirke under pleje af Churches Conservation Trust. Sibleys jernbanestation i sognet lukkede i 1953. Chickney blev registreret i Domesday Book som Cicchenai.
