Cottesmore er en landsby og civilsogn nord for grevskabet Rutland i East Midlands i England. Med hensyn til befolkning er det den største landsby i Rutland og den tredjestørste bosætning efter Oakham og Uppingham. Dette skyldes delvist tilstedeværelsen af Kendrew Barracks.
På Edward Bekenderens tid blev "Manors Cottesmore" ejet sammen med Greetham af en saksisk mand ved navn Goda. Goda havde 12 carucater land, hvoraf tre var underlagt skat til Danegeld. Kongen havde tre carucater i domæne, og tre socmen med 40 fæstebønder og seks bordarii havde 20 carucater. Af det land, der blev ejet af godset, havde én Goisfridus en halv carucate; han havde en plov og otte fæstebønder. Cottesmore havde også 40 acres eng og en skov, der målte en mile i længde og syv furlongs i bredde.
