Melrose Abbey er en kloster, viet til jomfru Maria, som blev grundlagt i 1136 i byen Melrose i regionen Scottish Borders. Omkring 1590 døde den sidste munk, og klosteret faldt gradvist yderligere i forfald.
Kort før år 650 blev et kloster grundlagt af Sankt Aiden med navnet Mailros. I dette kloster bosatte keltiske munke sig fra øen Iona. Dette kloster blev omtrent to hundrede år senere ødelagt af skotterne, men der forblev i de senere år et helligsted.
