Dumfries jernbanestation betjener byen Dumfries i Dumfries og Galloway, Skotland. Den ligger på Glasgow South Western Line. Stationen ejes af Network Rail og drives af ScotRail, der leverer alle passagertogstjenester. Den har personale på deltid hele ugen.
Åbnet af Glasgow, Dumfries og Carlisle Railway i 1848, blev linjen, der betjener den, udvidet nordpå til Kilmarnock og Glasgow to år senere. Den blev senere knudepunkt for grene til Castle Douglas og Stranraer, Lockerbie og sidst til Moniaive. Alle disse senere linjer er nu lukket, hvilket kun efterlader den oprindelige G&SWR hovedlinje åben for at betjene byen. Beeching Axe, der skærer gennem Castle Douglas og Dumfries Railway og Portpatrick og Wigtownshire Railway, har resulteret i en ugunstig distance for at forbinde Stranraer med en længere linje via Kilmarnock og Ayr. Rejsen med jernbane og færge via Stranraer til Larne Harbor eller siden linjen lukkede til havnen i Belfast er meget længere.
