Monasteraki i Chrisopigi har den vigtigste kirke på øen, kaldet "Panagia Chrisopigi" eller "Jomfru Maria fra Chrysopigi". Kirken blev bygget i 1650. Den blev bygget på ruinerne af et gammelt tempel. Det er en af de 224 kirker, der opererer i dag. På den vestlige side af bugten kan du se rester af lastebroen, der blev brugt til at transportere de minedede metaller med båd til Lavrio.
