Otranto er en kystby, havn og kommune i provinsen Lecce, i en frugtbar region, der engang var berømt for sin hesterace. Byen ligger på østkysten af Salento-halvøen. Otranto-strædet, som byen giver sit navn, forbinder Adriaterhavet med Det Ioniske Hav og adskiller Italien fra Albanien. Havnen er lille og har lidt handel.
