Vermenagna er en biflod til floden Gesso i Po-bassinet. Dens kilde er en lille sø over 2000 m nær Rocca dell'Abisso, ikke langt fra Colle di Tenda; efter Limonetto krydser den kommunerne Limone Piemonte og Vernante, hvor den fra venstre bred får sin hovedbiflod, rio di Valle Grande, som opsamler vandet fra dalen Palanfrè. Dens løb fortsætter og når Robilante og Roccavione; på grænsen mellem sidstnævnte kommune og Borgo San Dalmazzo ender Vermenagna i Gesso ved en højde af 610 m. Løbet af Vermenagna adskiller de Maritime Alper fra de Liguriske Alper.
