Palæret blev bygget i 1898 efter arkitekten Marco Aurelio Crottas projekt for familien Peirano. I 1960'erne gav den daværende ejer, den rige milanesiske Giovanni Battista Massone, ejendommen til kommunen i Milano, som omdannede det til et feriested for eleverne i de primære skoler og de milanesiske gymnasier.[1][2]
