Kirken blev grundlagt i 1552 af præsten Angelo di Poto på et område givet af kommunen. Den nuværende kirke blev bygget mellem 1746 og 1757, som erstatning for den anden, der lå nordøst på hjørnet af krydset mellem SS. Salvatore vejen og Trinità vejen.
Kirken har en enkelt skib, med 3 altere og et lille kapel . Den elegante og enkle portal fanger opmærksomheden på facaden med trin .
Blandt værkerne finder vi: muligvis stykker fra det 17. århundrede af SS. Trinità og to andre malerier (Maria Auxiliadora og Sankt Johannes Bosco).
