Bestigningen af Umbrail Pass starter vi fra Bormio. Denne bestigning er faktisk bestigningen af Passo dello Stelvio (fra Bormio). Kun 3 km før toppen drejer vi til venstre mod Umbrail Pass (Schweiz). Herfra kører vi ned til landsbyen Santa Maria. Og fortsætter vi videre til Pratto allo Stelvio. Herfra bestiger vi Stelvio med sine berygtede 48 hårnålesving. Du får her en pragtfuld udsigt over vejen/svingene, der stadig skal tilbagelægges. Fra toppen kører vi tilbage ned til Bormio.
