Drachten er en by i kommunen Smallingerland i Holland. Den 1. januar 2020 havde Drachten 45.075 indbyggere. Drachten ligger i den østlige del af provinsen, ved motorvejen Amsterdam–Groningen. Der er ikke jernbaner i denne region. Drachten har som økonomisk centrum i regionen mange små og mellemstore industri- og handelsvirksomheder af enhver art. I Drachten ligger et kulturcenter med koncertsal, kunstmuseum og teater, samt et hospital og mange skoler.
